What you print with our machines

3D printed concrete building at La Citadelle des Savoir-Faire

Buildings
Load-bearing walls and partitions printed directly on site, without formwork. The MaxiPrinter deploys in under 15 minutes and folds down to 86 cm wide to fit through a door.

3D printed concrete parts installed on a construction site

Precast parts
Columns, partitions and openings produced in the workshop then installed on site. Up to 1 tonne of material per hour, or 5 to 7 tonnes over a printing day.

3D printed concrete part with a complex shape

Urban furniture and custom parts
Benches, planters and textured elements, in shapes that traditional formwork cannot produce.

Our machines hold two world records

They build real buildings, across three continents.

400 m² — Guinness World Record
The world's largest 3D printed villa, built in Dubai by 3DXB for Dubai Municipality, in December 2023.
14.14 m — The Tower
The tallest habitable 3D printed building, in Bruay-sur-l'Escaut, with Sika and Bollinger+Grohmann. 150 hours of printing with two operators.
2019 — First 3D printed building in France
Printed at La Citadelle des Savoir-Faire with a MaxiPrinter.

Frequently asked questions before buying

How much does a 3D concrete printer cost?

Our machines range from €69,900 excl. tax for the MiniPrinter EDU, aimed at laboratories and training, to €445,000 excl. tax for the MaxiPrinter, which builds directly on site. The MiniPrinter XL, for precast production, starts at €104,900 excl. tax. No subscription: the control software and the slicer ship with the machine.

Can you 3D print a house?

Yes. The MaxiPrinter prints a building's vertical walls — both load-bearing and partition — directly on site, without formwork. Floors, roofing and finishing work are still carried out by traditional trades. France's first 3D printed building was built this way in 2019.

Which material is used for 3D concrete printing?

Our machines accept any pumpable mortar, with aggregates up to 6 mm in DN50 configuration and 4 mm in DN35. You can use your own formulation, an off-the-shelf mortar — typically €350 to €1,200 per tonne depending on performance — or our Albert micro-concrete, produced in France and delivered in one-tonne big bags.

How long does it take to train a team?

Two days for the MiniPrinter range. After training, your team can operate both the printer and the pump and produce parts of consistent quality. Buying a MaxiPrinter includes one week of training at our site in France, with a second week recommended at your own site after delivery.

What is the lead time?

Three months maximum from order. Lead time varies with demand and geography — contact us for a precise estimate for your project.

Is there a subscription or any hidden cost?

No. Our machines and their software require no subscription to run. The only additional costs are wear parts, depending on usage. You can opt for a spare parts pack or an annual maintenance contract.
