At the 3D Days last March at the Citadelle des Savoir-Faire, Constructions-3D showcased its new material, Termix-3D, in a special preview for its audience. This event also marked the official opening of the Termix-3D plant and highlighted its technical advantages during a unique demonstration. Together, we explored this next-generation facility dedicated to producing low environmental impact micro-concretes. Specifically designed for 3D printing in construction, Termix-3D will soon be available for sale. Here’s a look back at this innovation set to redefine the construction and 3D concrete printing industry.

The highlight within the event was undoubtedly the live demonstration of Termix-3D. In front of a privileged and engaged audience, a component of the future incubator at the Citadelle des Savoir-Faire was being printed—marking a historic first.
Using our new low-carbon footprint material, this demonstration allowed guests to witness firsthand the performance, precision, and agility of Termix-3D’s Albert material. It was both a symbolic and technical milestone on the path to sustainable construction for tomorrow.
But the demonstration didn’t stop there. Its ability to create custom elements is well established—recently, the very first wall of the future Citadelle des Savoir-Faire school was printed on site.
Its applications are diverse, ranging from complete structures such as buildings and housing to permanent formworks and complex architectural elements without traditional molds. In short, the possibilities are endless, and the now-savvy audience fully appreciated that.
Beyond its high-quality achievements, Termix-3D is also a thoughtfully designed material. With its reduced carbon footprint, this micro-concrete significantly lowers the environmental impact of the construction sector. Its composition is crafted to be one of the most eco-responsible solutions on the market, utilizing industrial by-products, recycled materials, and alternative binders. Notably, its CO2 emissions are drastically reduced by 55% compared to traditional concrete used by conventional builders. Constructions-3D has chosen to offer a more sustainable solution with less cement, without compromising concrete quality, mechanical strength, or durability.
The Termix-3D offering includes two main formulations—ochre and white: Premix Albert and Premix Georges. The first is a perfect blend for constructing buildings and permanent formworks. The second, more technical formulation, features enhanced properties ideal for complex architectural shapes. Notably, this solution is compatible with all Constructions-3D systems, which is a significant advantage. Material production can reach up to 300 tons per week, with flexible delivery options to the client in bulk, big bags, or 25 kg sacks—allowing you to choose the option best suited to your needs.
In its design, Constructions-3D has made it a priority to offer locally produced concrete that can be replicated anywhere, as well as tailor-made formulations based on local resources. At the heart of Hauts-de-France, Termix-3D materials are produced directly on our site and can be delivered by road or sea. They are designed to adapt to the local constraints of the construction sector worldwide—from Dubai to Canada.
More than just a locally produced, low-impact concrete, Termix-3D is also an innovation and design platform. Recently showcased at the 3D Days event, Termix-3D now offers a mobile factory equipped with an R&D laboratory to experiment with and develop new formulations directly on site.
This comprehensive platform serves as a full-scale testing ground. Its ability to produce custom materials on demand makes it a world-first innovation. Ideal for prototyping, pilot projects, or scaling up to industrial production, the Termix-3D factory is a genuine asset.
This turnkey solution plays a strategic role in building construction or housing development, significantly simplifying and accelerating production steps. On-site production enables greater efficiency, speed, and customized solutions tailored to each project’s needs.
It also offers the best way to control the entire production chain, making the process more eco-friendly and cost-effective by minimizing excess production.
But what are the concrete benefits of such a solution? Beyond its strategic role in project construction, it provides true production self-sufficiency through the customization of printing materials. The material design can be fully tailored. This Industry 3.0 laboratory also adapts to its “terrain,” considering local conditions, climate, and market demands.
During these 3D Days, Termix-3D delivered a stunning show and captivated its audience with its unique features. Its mobile factory is the major highlight of its offering.
