In 2025, VivaTech broke all records: over 180,000 visitors from 171 nationalities streamed through Paris-Porte de Versailles over four days, while the event hosted more than 14,000 startups and around 4,000 exhibitors from over 120 countries, gathered across 50 national pavilions.
On the business side, the event brought together over 3,600 investors and logged nearly 640,000 connections on its matchmaking platform, cementing its status as a true global marketplace for innovation.
Constructions-3D had the honor of being invited to the 2025 edition by Valenciennes Métropole to showcase its digital construction solutions, technological innovations, and responsible industrial model. Here’s a recap of this notable presence.
For Constructions-3D, being at VivaTech is above all a statement that the digital transformation of construction is real, and that France plays a leading role in this movement. It also reinforces that the resilience of our construction models depends on the alliance of technology, eco-design, and talent development.
Constructions-3D fully embraces this innovation momentum driven by VivaTech by reinventing construction standards.
The company designs industrial 3D concrete printers capable of rapidly producing concrete structures, relying on a local, mobile production model that boosts responsiveness and reduces logistical constraints. But beyond machines, Constructions-3D offers a complete ecosystem—including materials, software, services, and technical support—providing clients with turnkey solutions to build more efficiently, sustainably, and independently.
With 80% of its revenue generated from exports, Constructions-3D also embodies French industrial expertise with a global reach.
The highlight of Constructions-3D’s presence at VivaTech was the participation of Thomas Borja, Strategic Development Manager, in a conference on industrial digitalization alongside ArcelorMittal and Le Casier Français.
During his talk, Thomas Borja emphasized three key pillars reflecting Constructions-3D’s vision. First, the central role of training centers in transforming the sector: far from passive followers, vocational schools, professional high schools, and universities are called to become catalysts for change by integrating digital tools and new construction practices right from initial training.
Next, he highlighted the growing international appeal of the French industry, exemplified by Constructions-3D’s 80% export revenue—proof that French industrial expertise draws strong interest abroad.
Finally, he stressed the importance of building a comprehensive ecosystem: Constructions-3D goes beyond machine manufacturing by offering a full suite of software, materials, services, training, and support to address all aspects of construction digitalization.
Digitalization is no longer just a promise for the construction sector—it’s already happening, as Thomas Borja highlighted, revolutionizing how buildings are designed, planned, and built. Thanks to BIM, the entire lifecycle of a project can be managed from the design phase, while 3D concrete printing brings automated production directly to the job site, inspired by industrial processes.
The benefits are clear: reduced material waste, significant time savings, greater architectural freedom, less physical strain on workers, and renewed attractiveness for a labor-short industry. But this transformation also raises major challenges: training tomorrow’s professionals in these new tools, overcoming entrenched habits in construction, and fostering an innovation culture in a traditionally conservative environment.
That’s why Constructions-3D is committed to educating, training, and raising awareness among all stakeholders—schools, high schools, training centers, architects, craftsmen, and engineering firms. “Construction digitalization will only succeed if people are at its center: trained, supported, and involved.”
Constructions-3D has made knowledge transfer a cornerstone of its development. The company actively collaborates with building vocational centers, professional high schools, and universities to offer educational modules on 3D concrete printing.
Objectives:
This mission also relies on the ecosystem built around Constructions-3D: industrial partners, material suppliers (Termix-3D), software publishers, field experts, clients, and public institutions.
“Innovation in construction isn’t just about creating machines—it’s about transforming the entire sector.”
Participation in VivaTech 2025 also highlighted the regional support we have benefited from since our beginnings.
Being alongside Valenciennes Métropole and Les Rives Créatives sent a strong message of backing for the company. Our growth journey—from startup to exporting industrial player—is emblematic of a new generation committed to reindustrialization.
“Constructions-3D proves that it’s possible to innovate, produce locally, and conquer international markets from the Hauts-de-France region.”
At the close of the 2025 edition, Constructions-3D sent a clear message to all innovation players: the construction industry needs you.
Yes, the sector has historically been slow to change. But the tools are here. The technologies are mature. And the needs are vast: housing, infrastructure, hospitals, public facilities, defense, post-disaster reconstruction...
“Constructions-3D offers concrete solutions to make construction more productive, resilient, and responsible. Come meet us.”
Constructions-3D’s participation in VivaTech 2025 marks another milestone in advancing its industrial vision. By showcasing innovations, sharing insights in a strategic conference, and engaging with industry leaders, the company reaffirmed its role as a key player in transforming construction.
Constructions-3D is confident that, with the right support, digitalization of the construction sector can balance performance, sustainability, and attractiveness. This is the message the team brought to Paris—and will continue to promote both in France and internationally.
